Help Cary Clarke Win $50k for All-Ages Music Venues
In lieu of spending 20+ million dollars on Super Bowl ads, Pepsi is giving that money to charities via a 1.3 million dollar monthly popularity contest. We think you should help take some of that money to support local music in every town.
Cary Clarke (of PDX Pop Now!) is campaigning to win a $50,000 grant for help the All-Ages Music Project (AMP) that will fund a how-to book, regional conferences, workshops and integral AMP staff.
The ten most popular charities will win 50 large. As of today AMP is teetering at 10th. You can vote for your favorite charity EVERY day until February 28th.
As Ryan White of the Oregonian writes, “Cary promises you won’t be bombarded with Pepsi ads — unless you want to be. If you do want that, Pepsi can make it happen.”
Watch this video about amp. And tell your friends. You know how to do that, right?
