Hosted by Meltdown curator Richard Thompson, guests include country rock pioneer James Burton, who worked with Rick Nelson and Elvis Presley; Nokie Edwards, the groundbreaking picker of The Ventures; Dennis Coffey, legendary Motown player and member of The Funk Brothers; jazz rock great John Etheridge; and acoustic virtuoso Martin Simpson." What can one really say? The show was also opened by blues great Albert White and Beverly Guitar Watkins. Today was rehearsal one and it was a blast to see these peerless peers, some old friends, some meeting for the first time, hanging out, and getting down to some serious audio business.
