Submitting Music
We are seeking local music submissions to play on KZME radio programs.
What is Local?
Here’s a list of how we will define ‘local’:
Music written by local artists, performed by local artists, played in a local venue.
Music played by local artists in a local venue.
Music written by local artists, played by local artists in a non-local venue.
Music played in a local venue by non-local musicians.
Music that was influenced by a local musician.
Music that was recorded in a local studio.
Music distributed by a local label.
Music that ’sounds’ like it came from Portland or belongs in Portland.
Music, that in some way, reflects local values, history or landscape.
In addition, it is our intention to play music not already well represented on the local dial.
If you are a band/musician and you have original music on a CD and you'd like us to make it available to our DJ's, then send us a copy for our library.
If you are a label and have permission to distribute material to stations for air play, then send us a copy so we can make it available to our DJ's.

You can also zip us a file of your material but it must be at least 256 kbps (320 kbps preferred). We need the following information sent with the file:
* Name of Album
* Name of Band
* Name of publisher(s)
* Label

Please, oh please - we beg you. If there are any curse words or FCC violations, please let us know!!!
CDs are preferred but if you have professionally produced songs that you are offering commercially on a site such as itunes but not manufacturing physically, you are welcome to send your files along with biographical information.
We cannot follow up on inquiries regarding submissions.
