Touring the world of DJ Flip Flop

Very seldom will you hear a conversation about Portland DJ’s without mentioning DJ Flip Flop, a native of the Rose City, most popular for his tremendous scratching abilities, wide array of distinctive and funky beats he produces, and commitment to spinning true Hip-Hop. Once an aspiring drummer, in 2001 Flip Flop sold his drum set for turntables after being introduced to the appealing and unique sounds of scratched records over rhythmic Hip-Hop beats, than decided to start his journey by doing countless local events, concerts, and DJ battles to showcase his talents. He eventually proved himself to be among the elite in Northwest DJ’s. But it wasn’t until recently that Kenny Vanderberg (his real name) would be able to take his extraordinary skills across the nation and over seas.
